Students Organizing Diversity Activities

Students Organizing Diversity Activities is responsible for the planning and implementation of programs recognizing cultural, heritage and awareness months (i.e. Hispanic Heritage, GLBT, Native American, Black History, Disability, etc.). SODA members collaborate with underrepresented student organizations during each month and ensure that the campus community is aware of monthly festivities. This group of students are given the opportunity to create new programming ideas for each celebratory month. In order to be involved with this group, students can express interest in planning activities for one or more monthly celebrations.
